Racendo Index

One honest picture of your training.

Racendo Index replaces the bare VO2max number with three transparent scores — Engine, Strain, and Readiness. Every score shows what fed it, how fresh the data is, and how it compares to the metrics you already know.

Engine

0–100

Sustainable aerobic ceiling

Pace–HR efficiency at sub-threshold intensities, normalised by cadence and elevation. Replaces VO2max as the headline number.

Strain

0–100 + 7-day delta

Rolling load vs. your baseline

7-day acute load vs. your 28-day chronic baseline, RPE-adjusted and capped by recovery signals when available.

Readiness

0–100 with band

How prepared you are today

Freshness, sleep, HRV/RHR deltas, last-session feel and weather load — combined into a single band: Recover · Easy · Steady · Push · Peak.

How it compares.

Best-effort calibrations, not vendor numbers — so you always know what you're looking at.
